Open Door Policy

Little Nightingales ordinarily operates an open-door policy where you would usually always be welcomed into the setting to look through busy books, chat to staff and observe play; however, during these unprecedented times, we will offer a virtual tour and meetings where you will be able to meet staff and discuss your child’s individual requirements prior to starting

Little Nightingales Day Nursery are committed to working together in the best interest of the children continually aiming to work together so we can holistically look after your children ensuring they are able to meet their full potential.

Little Nightingales will share images and information with you during the day on your child e.g. snacks eaten, favourite activities etc.

Please could you inform us beforehand if your child has a routine – we strive to match home routines to the best of our abilities and a written routine particularly for children under the age of 3 is beneficial for all staff working with your children.

Little Nightingales provides a healthy snack with milk and water that is in line with the Welsh Government Guidelines. A snack menu is available for you to view on the noticeboard along with all listed allergens. Please request a copy that will be emailed to you. Please can you ensure to inform the setting leader of any allergies that your child may have. During this pandemic many foods are unavailable to us and although we strive to adhere to this menu, we can only offer what we can source.
